Collecting Beauties

Just after I posted "Asami Kiyokawa Exhibition 'Bijo-Saishu' @ Omotesando Hills", I went to Omotesando Hills to see her real pieces. And I... just hold my breath by them.
There were about a handled of the works, then you could see them really close. And all of a sudden, you might be stopped by her breathtaking works!! She perfectly used strings and fabrics, of-course, but not only that, she also used spangles, beads and feathers precisely. Those things were placed certainly on photographs. So, the beautiful pictures get more and more beautiful ever and become phenomenons.
I hope many people seizes an opportunity to see the details of her marvelous works at her real pieces.

Asami Kiyokawa

Whenever the era is, women are so active, smart and powerful. Even they are so sophisticated and delicate more than men on creative fields. For the 21th century, it's more defined and emphasized as like their beauties itself.

Asami Kiyokawa who is an artist and an art-director introduces her works, which is completely original style with thread. And moreover, she has perfectly defined how beautiful ladies are at the works. I think men haven't done the same thing and never will do. That well skilled lady knows how to produce women and has well done so far.
Following her is to get an inspiration above beauty. There is no reason not to.

MOT 2011

This past weekend, I went to "Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo" which is one of the well designed architecture in Tokyo. Two expositions are held at the museum.
The one is "Architectural Environments for Tomorrow - New Spatial Practices in Architecture and Art". Some well known architects install some installations into the exposition.
These are steps that an architectural industry is needed or needs to think deeply and to change a way to construct with environments lately. This past decade, people have been educated and have learned so much things about the environment and also ourselves. Then, people have tried to get better and to change what we already have. So, you may see some those steps the architects have taken.

Then the other one is "Berlin 2000-2011: Playing among the Ruins". As that title, it focuses on Berlin where a centre of young artists from the world recent year. I've been there four years ago, and I was impressed by that there are a lot of new arts over the city and even there are actually so many good creations. Moreover, you may feel powerful hungry energy. You may also feel the same energy from the exposition too.

If you are in Tokyo, visit the museum to feel the energy and to get inspirations.
