An actress turns to be a singer, it's not rare in Japan, especially she gets huge fame in quick. Even opposite as well. I think the situation is the same in U.S.. However, who has done well the both side? I don't think there is a lot.
Zooey Deschanel, one hell of an actress, is a front-woman at a band called "She & Him". In the movie she's in, you never forget her special voice once you notice. And her music too, indeed. When you listen to the songs, you may find how she is cleaver. She's using her speciality as more perfect as we image.
