On 13th November, 2012, Oxford University Press released "Oxford Dictionaries UK Word of the Year 2012" and which is "omnishambles". The press defines "a situation that has been comprehensively mismanaged, characterised by a string of blunders and miscalculations".
"Oxford Dictionary" and
"The Best New and Trending Word of the Year 2012"
Japan has the same thing "The Best New and Trending Word of the Year". A couple of week ago, the 50 nominees disclosed. Most of them are from London Olympics, because it's one of huge events of the year anyway. However many just never be used after all. Some are totally seasonal as like some newly on the Oxford Dictionary. On 3rd December, 2012, somehow, somewhat, there will be a winning word of 2012 and a top 10 ranking of the year.
